Private Mode: A Must-Read for Elite Traders

The Private Mode for Elite Traders includes four main features: Whitelist Invitations, Open Position Protection, Profit Sharing Ratio Adjustment, and Personalized Follower Management.

 

Please note the following when activating Private Mode:

1. Once activated, your ranking will no longer appear on the Top Traders, All Traders, or Leaderboard.
2. Existing followers will remain unaffected, with no impact on profit sharing or the profit-sharing ratio for current followers.
3. After activation, only users with your exclusive whitelist link will be able to follow your trades; regular platform users will not have direct access.
4. Followers can only follow your trades through the whitelist link and not via any other shared links.
5. In Private Mode, you can adjust the profit-sharing ratio for followers using the whitelist link. After adjusting, new trades will follow the updated profit-sharing ratio, while existing trades will continue with the original ratio.

 

Disabling Private Mode will result in the following changes:

1. Existing followers will not be affected, and all public users will be able to copy your trades;
2. All whitelist links will be deactivated, but the previously recorded whitelist information will be retained;
3. The profit-sharing rate will revert to the level-based profit-sharing rate.

 

How to Enable Private Mode:

1. Visit the CoinCatch website or open the CoinCatch app. On the copy trading page, click on [Apply to Become a Trader], complete the application form, and enable [Private Mode].

2. If you are already a trader, go to [Copy Trading Homepage] → [My Trades] → enable [Private Mode].

 

How to Create a Whitelist Invitation Link?

Step 1: Set an invitation title (optional)

What is the maximum number of followers in Private Mode?

If Elite Trader Jack configures a whitelist link for up to 1,000 users but has a maximum follower limit of 500, the total number of users able to follow through this link will be capped at 500. Specifically:

1. Each invitation link can have a follower limit set according to the elite trader’s preferences, or it can have no limit.
2. The total follower count for the elite trader is unaffected by Private Mode; it still depends on the total equity of the contract account and the expert trader’s level.

 

What information can be viewed for invited users?

1. User profile picture/nickname
2. Follow date
3. Current status (Pending/Following/Ended)
4. Additional details

 

How to manage invited users?

1. Elite traders can create multiple whitelist links to invite different followers.
2. Elite traders can directly remove followers who joined via a whitelist invitation.

 

How to enable Unclosed Position Protection?

This is one of the benefits of Private Mode, which hides your opening strategies from non-Private Mode followers, helping you manage personal privacy and trading tactics. To enable this, go to [Follow Page] → [My Trades] → [Personal Settings] → Enable [Unclosed Position Protection].

 

How to set the profit-sharing ratio?

In Private Mode, elite traders can freely set the profit-sharing ratio to earn higher profits. To set this, go to [Follow Page] → [My Trades] → [Personal Settings] → Set [Profit Sharing Ratio]. The profit-sharing ratio can be set between 0% and 99%, and the number of times you can modify the ratio per day is limited to 3.
